Baci di Dama
Baci di dama or Lady Kisses are a type of northern Italian sandwich cookie consisting of two hazelnut cookies joined together by a chocolate filling, representing the "kiss" in the name. Considered a standard of Italian confectionery, these are a common item at bakeries throughout Italy and in Italian diaspora communities.
Traditionally made with dark chocolate, these are versatile bakes, please choose the filling: milk chocolate, dark chocolate or pistacchio cream.
Ricciarelli
Ricciarelli are from Siena, in Tuscany. They are soft, chewy almond cookies, traditionally made with orange zest and generously dusted with icing sugar.
Canestrelli
Canestrelli are a type of Italian biscuit originating in Montferrat, the biscuits are common in both Piedmont and Liguria. They are quite different in preparation compared to other biscuits as the original recipe uses boiled egg (yolk).
Occhi di Bue
Occhi di Bue are simple buttery, crumbly, sweet pasta frolla (shortbread pastry) that sandwiches a generous amount of jam of choice or a nutty hazelnut cream.
Deliziose
Deliziose, meaning Delicious, are a traditional dessert from Napoli. Made with a buttery lemon pastry, are prepared as sandwich biscuits filled with ricotta, orange zest and chocolate and finally rolled in hazelnuts.
Paste di Pistacchio
Paste di Pistacchio are soft cookies made with a balanced quantity of almond and pistacchio, flavoured with orange zest.
